1. Vision:  How we view our natural surroundings contributes to a
great degree what we see or don’t see through the eye of faith.
What we see through various media outlets, whether positive or
negative, has impact, even if ever so slightly.  It impacts how we
feel, what we do, and even how we view ourselves, not only just
the world around us.  (I noticed a tremendous improvement in my
own overall spiritual health after making a habit of not zooming in
on negatives or anything that can hinder, distort or blind my vision
    of faith.)
  • For we walk by faith, not by sight:
    -- 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7

  1. Hearing.  What passes through the ears can enhance, rob, or
eliminate our faith.  By His design, the ear gate is very special
and also quite fragile.  It’s the channel by which faith flows into
the inner spirit.  (For this reason, I protect my ears with all the
strength God gives me.  I know how vitally important this is and I
regularly exposure my ears to hearing the Word of God.)
  • So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God. --Romans 10 verse 17

  1. Voice.  Finding the right words to say takes time, practice and
regular exposure to reading His Word just to know what words to
use.  It’s so important that our words be in sync with what we see
and hear in the things of God.  (When I use my voice to speak a
word in season to lift and encourage others,  I’m actually doing
the same for my own spirit too.)
  • Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that
ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation
    of God. -- Psalms 50 verse 23

  1. Progress.  Each day and every step matters. (I have those days
that seem more challenging than the day before, with more steps
forward on one day and not so many on the other.  Yet I
understand that with every new day comes the opportunity for
new and continued progress.  Stay in the race.)
  • Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To
them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for
glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
    -- Romans 2 verses 6-7

Filtering out the things that don’t make for good overall health and
wellness of spirit helps maintain proper focus in the journey of faith
and helps to nourish a fresher outlook on life and our role in it.
