It’s barely noticeable at first.  High temperatures begin to
gradually cool.  A gently breeze stirs the air.  The evening sun
starts to set over the horizon a little sooner than before.   For
the most part, the natural landscape is calm and pleasant as it
changes into a wonderful array of autumn colors, transitioning
for fall.

The tree anticipates this change of season and adapts to its
climate and atmospheric pressures, knowing that all days will
not always be so pleasant.  In advance of harsh weather it
prepares and reinforces itself by the same force of nature that
will also come to challenge it.  Though it shed its leaves,
looking bare and lifeless, its hope is not in its outward
appearance, but deep below the surface, anchored at the
root, absorbing its water and nutrients from the soil wherein it
was planted.  Weathering every storm, it patiently awaits the
day its branches will naturally blossom back from the root, in
all its glorious spring colors, overflowing with an abundance of
life.

Bible Scriptures to Reference:
King James Version

  • Psalm 1 verses 1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat
    of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he
    meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
    bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
