And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan,
and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
-- Luke 4 verse 1 (Kings James Bible)
The wilderness was not the place were people wanted to
be. Yet the Spirit led Jesus into that very same place of
dryness and barrenness. Being full of the Holy Ghost,
He obediently followed the purpose of the Spirit. What
Jesus conquered in the wilderness set the standard
from then on.
When going through our own wilderness type
experiences, being full of the Holy Ghost with Jesus as
guide is the surest way to walk out of it with victory.
May His Word bless and strengthen you today.
