- In addition to spiritual matters, one’s ability to make
prudent, wise and careful decisions in practical matters
also excels with the knowledge of God’s Word. Since
there is nothing new under the sun, God’s Word gives
us a solid and dependable reference point from which to
draw. It gives us truthful insight into behavioral and
situational patterns that yet exist today, giving us the
advantage to foresee outcomes that are not in our best
interest and how to handle or avoid them altogether. It
is only when we ignore or do not follow God’s advance
warnings all the way through, that we end up
undergoing a penalty.
