By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet,
moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;
righteousness which is by faith.
-- Hebrews 11 verse 7         (Kings James Bible)

With so much at stake, Noah could not afford to be
wrong in under estimating the seriousness of God's
advance warnings.  Being hesitant to act because there
had been no previous history of such things would have
cost him valuable time that he did not have to spare.  To
build the ark exactly as God instructed would not be a
one-day job and taking a casual approach in its
preparation would have been a devastating mistake for
Noah with dire consequences.  By faith, even though he
could not yet see any sign of what was to come, he
treated God’s Word with the utmost respect, giving it top
priority everyday to the saving of his house.

Our daily task of preparing our vessels for His return is
so important that we too must take every Word of God
seriously.  We cannot afford to respond reluctantly to
His warnings.  His Word is always true, whether we see it
    or not.

May God’s Word sustain your faith in Him today.
