And it shall turn to you for a testimony. -- Luke 21 verse 13
Whatever it is that you encounter for the cause and
devotion to Christ has a powerful testimony attached to
the end of it. However, in order for Christ to empower
you with it, situations and conditions will occur in your
life to challenge His Word. It is not to discourage your
spirit but rather to promote and foster proper growth
and spiritual development in Christ, giving you firsthand
knowledge of His grace, mercy, and redemption.
It is only with that knowledge that you become stronger
and more confident as you endure and overcome each
trial of faith with victory. Having obtained it by the Spirit
of the Lord, and not via somebody else, your testimony
will reflect that.
May God’s Word light the way for you today.
Word of the Day ... Testimony
For further study and inspiration:
- Note: A testimony given through the Spirit of the Lord is
undeniable.
14. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what
ye shall answer:
15. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your
adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
- 2 Timothy 3 verses 10-12.
- Note: Paul’s testimony concerning his life and that it was the
Lord that delivered him out of everything he suffered for being
dedicated to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Note: His testimony was to encourage all those that live a
godly life in Christ Jesus, that though they suffer for it, the Lord
will deliver them too.
10. But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life,
purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11. Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at
Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them
all the Lord delivered me.
12. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer
persecution.
