And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his
wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.  And he touched her
hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered
unto them.
-- Matthew 8 verses 14 & 15     (Kings James Bible)

Jesus saw a person hindered from being all they could
be.  He saw a person in a weakened state needing help
to get up.  He saw the true person, that which He had
made good apart from the condition and ministered to
both.  Rather than to dismiss the person, he releases
the condition instead, making the person whole.

When the Spirit of the Lord touches a life, it ministers to
more than just one area of need and raises it to a new
level.  In this instance, she was back on her feet again
with renewed strength and vitality to perform the duties
    of her calling.

Christ sees past our present condition to the original
intent of who we are to be.  In His likeness, He created
us, and likewise He can restore us.

May His Word grow and flourish in your spirit each day.
