- That, which we treasure the most, pulls the strings to
our heart.
- If what we value so highly is of the earth, then it can be
susceptible to earthly influences and its surroundings.
Depending on which way the wind is blowing at the time
or to what degree the environment shakes, these valued
cares can waver or move, affecting the heart like a
yo-yo, fluctuating between one extreme and another.
This becomes even more devastating when these
treasures are the basis and foundation of one’s life,
esteem, and status. Should these most cherished cares
of life ever falter or move, then every thing attached to
it, can move or suffer tremendous damage with it.
- We live in a very unstable and imperfect world, to say
the least. To make the most of it, we must make sure
our heart has an anchor in something other than the
world.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on
